Specialist Teaching and Learning Assistant

Whittington Green School Governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and suitably experienced Specialist Teaching and Learning Assistant - Literacy.  The post will involve complimenting the work of teachers by supporting students in lessons and the successful applicant will be expected to prepare, deliver and evaluate work with small groups of students to improve the performance of those who begin KS3 below the expected standard and close the gap between disadvantaged and non-disadvantaged. 

Previous experience of working with students with a variety of learning needs is essential.
