Anthony Gell School is looking to recruit a School Sport Partnership Assistant to work with the well-established Rural Derbyshire School Sport Partnership (SSP), in the delivery of the School Games programme in line with the new Sport England Strategy and other programmes linked to the role.  

This role requires candidates to have the desire and commitment to improve the lives of children and young people by encouraging them to participate in regular, safe, inclusive, fun and appropriate sports and physical activity through events, festivals and competitions. 

The successful applicant will support the delivery of the PE and School Sport Offer across the Partnership and support the Partnership Manager to achieve the outcomes of the SGO role by ensuring more young people take part more often in locally co-ordinated festivals, competitions and physical activity programmes which impact on physical and mental health and well-being. 

The successful applicant will be based in specialist office accommodation at Anthony Gell School and will be employed by the school.
