John Flamsteed Community School is a very popular and heavily oversubscribed school with attainment levels above the national average at GCSE. We were inspected in March 2019 and the school was again judged as being “good”. 

We are seeking a Student Support Team Assistant to work as part of the pastoral team. The successful candidate will work proactively to remove barriers to learning and to solve pastoral issues. 

We are looking to appoint a well organised and motivated person, with a genuine interest in improving the outcomes for all young people, regardless of their background or ability. You should be a team player with a positive outlook and a good sense of humour.  This would be an ideal opportunity for graduates seeking school experience prior to applying for teaching training, which can be accessed within the Trust.
