Would you like to join our Adult Care Assessment and Triage Team (ACATT)?

We’re looking to recruit a professionally qualified and fully HCPC registered Occupational Therapist to join this established team.

As part of our Adult Care Team you will be required to take an integrated and strength-based approach to deliver a proportionate, personalised, safe and sustainable response for local adults, their carer’s and families.

Your role will include assessment of and timely response to adult’s presenting with a wide variety of needs, disabilities and circumstances. This will involve positive risk taking and the ability to contribute to inter agency and multi-disciplinary approaches both across the council and in other statutory bodies are key to this role.

You will be providing specialist advice, undertaking assessment functional skills, and delivering housing-related or care-related support, including equipment and major adaptations. You will be undertaking assessments remotely, using a variety of mediums and techniques for engaging with people.

As an occupational therapist in the team, you will be supported in your professional development, access regular peer support and receive clinical and line management supervision.

The team is based in Shand House, Darley Dale. We are continuing to offer a hybrid approach to working, so you will be able to work both in the office and at home to suit your needs and the needs of the service.

Here’s what our team tell us about working here:
