Morewood is a registered service which supports adults who have a learning disability, autism, behaviour which may be seen as challenging and people who may be experiencing mental health issues.
We are looking for a Deputy Manager to join an established staff team, who will be a good role model to our staff team and work in a person-centred way with the people at Morewood.
The person needs to be able to work as part of a team, make decisions when required and take responsibility for the service in the absence of the Unit Manager.
The role will involve induction, supervision and practice observations of staff, completion of Morewood audits, the implementation of DCC policies and procedures and ensuring the best quality of support is given to the people who stay at Morewood.
Full induction and support will be given.

The job may require unsocial hours working including weekends and Bank Holidays. Payment arrangements will be detailed in any contract offer made.
Saturday and Sunday hours will be paid at plain time where it is part of your normal working pattern unless it is between 7pm and 7am, where enhanced rates of pay apply. Enhanced pay rates are paid for Bank Holiday working.
