An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clerk to Governors to join Bishop Pursglove Primary School part of the Derby Diocesan Academy Trust (DDAT). Bishop Pursglove Primary School is committed to providing high quality education for all children based on clearly established Christian values and principles. In joining the School, the new Clerk to Governors will play a pivotal role in supporting the local governing body.
This is a key role for the right candidate to provide effective and efficient governance to the local governing body which requires close working with the Chair of Governors, Headteacher and the DDAT Central Team. The role includes attending local governing body meetings in an evening as required to minute the outcome of those meetings, providing admin support to governors and be responsible for the letting of the school to outside agencies in the evenings liaising with school staff regarding this.
The successful candidate will ideally have relevant experience in a similar role within the education sector and ready for a new and exciting challenge.
