Shirebrook Academy is at the heart of the Shirebrook community.  We are committed to making a real difference to the lives of our young people and will provide outstanding learning and enrichment opportunities for them throughout their time with us.  To be able to achieve this, we need to have a team of dedicated and outstanding staff, who will contribute to our exceptional learning community. In May 2017 Shirebrook Academy joined ACET (Aston Community Education Trust) which further strengthens our capacity to improve opportunities for all our students and staff.

We are seeking to appoint a highly professional and efficient administrator to join the SEND / Inclusion team. You will be the first point of contact for telephone enquiries into Inclusion, whilst providing an effective administration service in this confidential environment.

You will maintain a secure and friendly environment for staff, students, parents/carers and visitors to Inclusion, whilst undertaking a variety of administration duties and supporting SEND / Inclusion events.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be capable of working with minimal supervision
  • Remain calm under pressure
  • Be committed to supporting the aims of the academy
  • committed to promoting positive values, attitudes and behaviour
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times
