Business Services Assistant

We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Business Service Assistant to join the Social Care teams in the High Peak of Derbyshire, working in collaboration with number of essential Community and Neighbourhood support services. The Social Care Team is made up of Social Workers, Social Care Practitioners, Occupational Therapists, with management support from a Senior Practitioner and the Service Manager, who are in turn supported by our Business Service Team.

You will need to be confident in your holistic communication skills and have good knowledge and understanding of using computer systems, including developing knowledge of the council’s own recording systems.  

You will be the key link between the team and community services, in which you will attend meetings and gather information to share within the team.  You will also collate and share information from the team, within multi discipline meetings.

Within your role, you will have opportunities to take minutes for a variety of meetings.

We are looking for someone who will be proactive in looking for ways to support health & social care and encourage integrated working. Building links with the GP practices and community teams is key to all the above.
